[quote:0f4b289331="PotKettleBlack"][quote:0f4b289331="trimhunter"][quote:0f4b289331="PotKettleBlack"]Still not getting the difference between a Chevy and a Caddy.
Caddy cards... massive research.
Chevy cards... mass produced, with a formula to make the stats work.
Chevy cards get crammed into advanced use, even though they aren't really optimized for ADV or SADV.
They are still made by SOM.
I can posit one theory on why a card here is difference from an actual card or a computer version card, particularly when it's a Chevy card. Formula writes the card one way for the computer. Formula does a different bit of rounding for the card or SN, produces a different, though not much weaker or stronger card.
Purists believe the cards are written in stone. Realists understand that the difference between a SI** on 1-6 and a SI** on 3-8 is negligible, if it exists at all.[/quote:0f4b289331]
The card shown by SN is different than the card produced by SOM. Even if the computer is not programmed for the card I would think they would still show the same card.[/quote:0f4b289331]
If the underlying card is different, because the formula produced it differently, wouldn't you expect the computer generated card to display differently?
I would. Actually, I do, because the cards that display are data driven by the underlying card. Else the Card Reader script wouldn't work.[/quote:0f4b289331]
No, I would not. I believe the card is just a visual and nothing more than a visual.
