How normal are all these delays in the initial drafting phase for 24-team leagues?

Yeah same, and I think champ has been relying on proxies but he needs to pick to skip Shakey.

Turner Field has been picked. Check the SOMO ballpark list to make sure DD is not missing any other stadiums, aliens are abducting stadiums from the DD site.

I looked at the rules (again). I have one concern. The rules state we have a 25 man roster until game 132. This is fairly typical for a 12 team league. However, in the 24 team format the teams use a lot more platoons and have more high injury players in their regular lineups. In "real" baseball a team call up a player due to injury on a per game basis. We don't have that luxury, playing 3 a night. Could we forego the 25/132 rule and allow a max of 28 in order to accommodate the platoon/high injury concerns?

It looks like we may finish this week. (Much sooner than the earlier estimate of next Thanksgiving.) Will we be loaded teams on a first come first entered basis? Assigning divisions will only slow the progress. I don't think too many players were drafting with their division competition in mind, since we didn't know stadiums or roster makeup.

Just my thoughts.
