Hi gang,

I had been thinking for a while that, in this format, given how we struggle to finish drafts & make final roster cuts, etc., if we shouldn't implement the following:

"Teams may omit prospects from their 20-man roster (protecting them without promoting them) and then promote them in lieu of making one of their 10 draft picks during the actual draft."

This would serve a few purposes:

1) the draft would be shorter & easier to manage
2) more player cards would be in circulation vs. sitting on the sidelines
3) fewer prospects would be "stockpiled" every year

Thoughts?
