SP* question

SP* question

Postby carr20 » Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:30 am

For the first time ever, but due to a theme league, I do not have 4 sp's with *'s. Rather, I have 3 with *'s and 2 without

I want my number 1 and number 2 pitchers with *'s to start 41 games, rather split the starts equally among five starters. Can I make that possible by setting a rotation, or do I have to manually entering the starter for each game?

Thanks for the help

i think if you set a 4 man rotation, hal will start your 5th starter when your 4th starter doesn't have enough rest. or start an rp :D

Unfortunately, I think the only way you can manually override the game manager to split the remaining 80 starts equally between your 3,4,5 pitchers is per-game starters you set manually.
It takes some time, but only once a week is needed.

Not sure why u would have a 3rd SP with a * unless u want him to start every 4th game.
But setting the rotation as the 2 * followed by the 2 non * and HAL will fill in the 3rd * when the non * is tired.

Setting the 3 * SPs up 1,2,3, HAL will alternate the non-* SPs.

I believe that if you set them up with the two primary * guys 1 and 2 with the non-* guys at 3 and 4 in your rotation that it will do what you want it to do.
