Congratulations to Smokey, Kev and Dickie for their divisional titles, and to Dave for edging Sandy and I for the wildcard. Great race for the wildcard - with 3 teams in it until the end.

Hope the playoffs are as exciting - this was a fun season.

I'll have the divisional assignments and draft orders up shortly - other than the playoffs we're good for the year.

Good luck to the playoff teams - here's to everyone staying healthy!

Made it thru to the Finals! Late-season acquisition Martin Prado led the charge in the Semis, posting a .930 OPS in the 6 games vs. AFD.

Gotta love the matchup tonite with me & the SmokeMonster. He killed me HTH in the reg season 15-9, let's see if we have some upset potential now...

Here are the divisional assignments for season one next year, based on the cumulative records since the league began:

East Division:

Sandlotshrink (796-662)
Qksilver (776-682)
Smokey (769-689)
AFDickie (766-692)

Central Division:

Nythawk (761-697)
Cummings* (760-698)
Kaviksdad (720-738)
Ehlekev* (708-750)

West Division:

Ninersphan (698-760)
Palmtana* (687-771)
Cubit (656-802)
Smitty* ((651-807)

Sandy's got a big lead in overall w/l record. Half the league is over .500 historically, and half below. Smitty, Cummings, Ehlekev and Palmtana are replacement owners, so their records are partially due to their predecessors. Dave has 10 playoff appearances to lead the league, closely followed by Sandy with 9. Dave, Sandy and Hawk all have 2 championships (not including this season). If Dave wins he'll have 3 - if Smokey wins he'll have 2 and join the leaders. Other than Dickie, nobody else has won a championship.

Here is the free agent draft order, based on cumulative records since the league began:

1 - Smitty
2 - Cubit
3 - Palmtana
4 - Ninersphan
5 - Ehlekev
6 - Kaviksdad
7 - Cummings
8 - Nythawk
9 - AFDickie
10 - Smokey
11 - Qksilver
12 - Sandlotshrink

The spring prospect draft order, based on the previous season's w/l record, is this:

1 - Palmtana
2 - Smitty
3 - Cummings
4 - Ninersphan
5 - Nythawk
6 - Cubit
7 - Ehlekev
8 - Sandlotshrink
9 - Kaviksdad
10 - Qksilver
11 - AFDickie
12 - Smokey

Smitty and Cummings were tied, with Cummings having the better head to head record. Kev, Sandy and I all tied with 85-77 records. I had a better head to head record against both, so I go to the bottom. Sandy and Kev tied head to head, so I matched head to head records back to the previous seasons, and Sandy has the advantage, so Kev gets the better pick.

It's all convoluted, but it matches up with our historical orders so I'm confident it's all good.

I guess I've been really, really bad in this League. Thanks KD for documenting things so thoroughly.

You're not bad Cubit - just patiently building a dynasty!

And the finals are just as advertised - tied at 2 wins a piece, both splitting all 4 games.

Thanks Smokey. Big win for us, coming from so far back, and winning against a powerhouse like your squad.

Was looking for MVP candidates and, as funny as it seems, probably have to go with Janish - he put up a .360/.407/.640 line and both his dingers were huge, one in Gm 6 of the semis that put us into the Finals, and one in Gm 2 of the Finals that tied it up late against Kershaw.

Another unsung hero was Thornton - 11.1 IP, 4 H, 1BB, 14 Ks, 1 SV. Pitched his a$$ off in some tight ballgames.
