He's listed as playing in 1801. Were the Negro leagues going then?

ALL of the double-duty Negro League players have an 1801 card. I don't know why, but I suspect it's just a way for the game engine to differentiate between the two cards. Look at Donaldson, Dihigo, Mendez, Radcliffe. One says NeL and the other says 1801.

Need to do something to distinguish them. Makes sense, but it is one more thing helping my growing confusion about how to play this game. Of course, I have been playing my role of boosting other guys' winning percentages pretty well lately. :oops:

I believe it's a way to avoid them registering as two separate entities. If they were the same name on the same team (NEL), there might be game issues.

1800 is the "year" that TSN originally associated with all the NeL cards. The new NeL cards have an 1801, like PKB said, to distinguish it from the others. I didn't notice that at first, I will need to change that on the draft app.
