1969 RAISE THE MOUND! No hitters >2M -drafting

Our historical single season sets

I will be very interested to see how Tony C does in a full season as a regular RF. He has always been intriguing to me (probably more because of what happened to him in '67) but he is almost always a free agent in every league I have seen.

I agree. I originally had him on my proxies and then after further evaluation made a choice to go another direction. But he was never at the very top.
But, in this deal he could be among the leaders in RBIs and homers.

There's going to be some low scoring games out West. Through the first 18 picks, the West Division has Marichal, Niekro, McDowell, Singer, and Tatum. The Central has Dierker and Messersmith, and the East has yet to select a pitcher.

pick made..i took Kubiak...i was very happy taking Tony C with my first pick. If my logic is correct in this league a 2 million dollar hitter has the same value as a 10M hitter in a standard league Of course that would mean a 10M pitcher in this league is worth 20M plus?

Ok, I'm showing my rookie colors and how green I am at Diamond Dope after just two drafts, but I wish people would set their stinkin' Proxies. I'm NOT GETTING ANY WORK DONE, because I keep going back to check on the draft. LOL.
I love this. I really do.

Be interesting to see what "softball" means for a bunch of $2M hitters.
