Injury rating question

I have Andy Seminick as my catcher and he carries a 2 injury rating.

My question is how many games might I expect him to miss, so that I may determine whether I should spend more money on a backup catcher or grab a cheaper backup.

It's a theme league, so I am debating between Boone at 2.88 or Wilson at 1.76.

Missing 20 games would be normal. Most of the time you will be slightly under, but now and then you will get clobbered by the big 15'er. You're a 2:1 favorite to avoid it, but it sure hurts when it hits.
