has adjusted players prices in the 6 when they've issued new additions. question? do they ever redo a players card? add a hit, walk, etc.?

I think some of the cards get adjusted for era when added to the set. Particularly the dead-ballers, with the ridiculous e-ratings, get those adjusted downward. Also there was quite a flap about the new Lou Brock card's stealing rating.

i meant a card that never performs where an extra hit would bring it uo to par. also i meant once it's been used in online strat. not from the board to the net.

Cards are not changed to adjust for performance. There have been some who have changed when strato converted a season from a chevy version to a cadillac version. I think there were a number that changed like that between ATG versions.

It's logically inconsistent to expect BOTH hitters to replicate their OB% and Slg numbers AND pitchers to match their ERA and WHIP numbers. And arranging a card set where one group COULD be expected to do so fairly often would mean that the other group would necessarily be dreadful.

So which, exactly, would you like to see?

Rburgh you make a great point that I think sometimes we forget. These guys cards are made within a season and against that competition they should have relatively similar stats to their real life stats. In atg the number of good hitters and pitchers is greatly increased which in turn effects the numbers that guys have. Take chuck Klein and his 1930 season, rarely does he match his real life stats from that year. But if you take a look at the pitching cards from that year it all makes sense.
