Those of you who are able please consider a contribution to Diamond Dope. Adrian (it's creator) set up the 1969 draft functionality at our request a couple months back and it works great for our drafts. Some of us have already made contributions. Thanks for considering,
Dan

It's the 7th round and I broke down and got my 1st pitcher. You vultures have picked the pitching ranks to the bones. It should be interesting to see how my mid-tier pitchers do vs. your elites!!

Well, I went all out on pitching, with 4 SPs and 2 RPs. So now I'm picking through the scraps for my position players. This seems like it could degenerate into a cheap version of one of the Hack Wilson-no glove theme leagues, at least for my team.

My team is coming along nicely except that we're missing 3 items: hitting, fielding, and pitching. Other than that, we are looking very, very good.

I recalled having my last picked Bob Meyer on one of my past '69 teams..i didnt check his numbers until after i picked him..he went 6-18, but that was against the big boys...ive had Alyea a couple of times, he is probably the best bargain in the whole '69 set. Once hit 36 homers and another time 20 for me, against the best pitching.
