I would suggest that he drop Schumaker, the only back up inf that he has that he didn't have in the draft. Or, I guess Patterson.

My apologies, I didn't realize you had to draft the guys you drafted. Made a change in strategy- I will fix it when I get home tonight, I am travelling all day.

Anyway you look at it these Managers have an advantage over the rest of us who autodrafted correctly. Not sure how to handle it presently, but it looks like we're going to have to make some rules going forward for future NLD drafts. This is several in a row now that pretty big mistakes have been made.

Jeep, please explain the advantage I have now by 1) being forced to drop a guy I wanted on my roster, and 2) having to waste my 1st waiver pick on a guy I actually drafted.

Guys, c'mon, get a little perspective here & simmer down. It's a game, and transitioning players from DD to the TSN draft & getting teams is ALWAYS has a mistake or two.

I don't have a cow when you guys draft my players, which in my opinion has a much bigger impact on things than me forgetting to put a guy on my list, yet most of you have done this in the past. I think it's happened to me about 6 of the last 10 drafts.

I don't have an issue when a 20th round pick (Uribe in this case) gets on another draft list. Shouldn't be too hard to check but it does happen and it's not too hard to fix.

I do have an issue with drafting players and then changing directions and not putting them on your SOM draft card. That means the drafted players are unavailable to everyone else.

I don't think DT did this with any malicious intent but clearly not what the live draft is intended for.

QK, DT could have put players on his draft card that other Managers wanted . DT will have to drop these players, yes, but now they will go into the pool and Managers will not have equal chance to get them. Other scenerios exist, surly I don't need to list them all.

I'm not having a cow here. We just need fairness. Not realizing you have to put drafted players on your draft card is ridiculous.

I understand that piece of it Jeep, just don't want my simple gaffe lumped in with a complete misunderstanding of the rule.

Ok, so DT says he didn't know. So now he knows. Let's move on. This kind of stuff is what makes my patience with NLD wear thin. I don't believe anyone in this league is here to game the system, and strident posts that come very close to accusing folks of that rub me the wrong way.

Also, I would have a bigger issue with DT's mistake if the fix wasn't easy, but it is - he has to list the omitted guys 1st on his waiver.

If any of the guys he took in place of his DD drafted guys were on someone else's draft card as one of the last 6 to be taken now (i.e. not taken on DD), then pipe up & say so. Lay claim to those guys via the honor system & then let's agree that only those owners can put them on a waiver card. It's not perfect, but too damn much is made over the last 6 guys on a roster in this league, it has always been that way.

I get that this stuff is annoying, when players take I guy I actually drafted it annoys me too, but let's just figure out what to do instead of getting all up in arms. Drives me nuts to have people yell about problems instead of look towards solutions. I deal with that enough at work and don't need it here. Ok off my soapbox now. Back to your regular programming.

All I know is its good to be alive :D and I hate most of the players I drafted :oops: Not sure what I was thinking when I chose these players but there is always waivers :lol:
Have to agree you u Qk about life has enough headaches so lets try to keep them out of our online world.I personally have been sidetracked by life too many times this year and havent had as much strat time as I have in previous years so when I do have the time to be on here I would rather enjoy the fun of the game rather than dealing with the other headaches and controversies that have been occurring way too often in most of the leagues I am involved in this year.
