Fellas,

I hope you didn't misread my post. (Posts are a very imperfect medium) Yes, I'm frustrated, but I don't believe it's a huge deal. It's just YEEEEESH, let's get this right! :) Know what I mean?

Now, this is two drafts in a row where we've had guys not taking players that were on their draft list. We talked about it a lot last time around and I'm surprised that DT didn't remember (although I certainly believe him) and I'm surprised that Silver made the same mistake again. Perhaps we need a rule to fix it, but I'd rather just say "don't do it!" ;)

Drafting a player that was on someone else's list happens pretty much every time and it really only hurts the guy that took the wrong player. Although, AT shouldn't have cut Uribe, he should have traded him to Stoney. Please, no one pick him up in Waivers.

So, I think that guys should use their first picks for the guys they were supposed to draft (like Silver suggests) Maybe they should have to cut them loose so that they're in waivers? I see Silver already did that. DT, could cut one of the two extra guys.

That's part of the equation, but since DT has more guys (or maybe just one), perhaps the other misdrafted players should have to sit on waivers for an hour or so so that others get a shot at them. Otherwise it turns into a frenzy right?

It's fixable, just annoying. Sorry if anyone misread my post as anger, it's mostly just frustration. Not a big deal let's not get too excited here.

Silver, I wasn't lumping your simple gaffe with what Detriot did. Never even broght up your name. Additionally, I'm [u:93cf6a54f2]not upset[/u:93cf6a54f2] at all. Just saying that we need to lay down some ground rules going forward to cover this. As Joe said this is two drafts in a row now.

Real life stuff is what's important. Believe me my priorities with real life & Strat are in order; you are [u:93cf6a54f2]completely mistaken[/u:93cf6a54f2] if you think I am all up in arms over this.

Your current solution of someone speaking up and laying claim to DT's players is a good one.

Despite the fact the on the field talent does warrant such a bold proclamation, i feel a gentle reminder of what we are here to do is in order...

Ok, finally got in. Dropping Jed Lowrie and will take the guys with my first waiver picks and drop Wilson. Just to be clear- I can drop them afterwards right? Or if drafted do they have to stay on the roster all year long? Sorry I am just not certain of the rules we are using.

Also- I can't pick up buchholz without dropping someone else I drafted. It isn't possible- I need to make all my non-drafted guys to .50 to make it work.
Arrieta, worth, nix, lewis, tatis.

None of these guys are central to anything I am doing, so please let me know what I should do.

As of now all I have are those two waiver claims to get my SP back.

DT, you don't have to keep your players all year (I'll be dropping some of the guys I drafted)

I see you cut Lowrie. I think the important thing is to give people a chance to pick up the guys you shouldn't have put on your list. So, I *think* you should pick up Stauffer and Bucholz in your waivers. Just my opinion, but you should at least avoid picking them up for 30 minutes in order to give someone a chance to grab them. That probalby won't happen.

By my calcs, yo uhad .84 maxium per the 6 players you had left to pickup after the Live Draft. A total of 3.34 for the six. So, yeah, you didn't have much left.

So, the bottom line, after the waivers run, you should have the 19 players you drafted on your team.

How long you hold on to them? I would say for at least 30 minutes, but you'll have to make that call. You can get under the cap, you just will have a LOT of .50 players.

Will do- again my apologies. I am used to not having to put them on your draft card but losing the rights.
