It's hard to imagine a guy with 40+ hit chances on both sides of his card, a big plus in the clutch, and over 21 XBH against RHP "sucking." But that card is not going to hit .415 except, maybe, in a $60 million league where most of the rest of the league decides to go with $15 million pitching staffs in hitters' parks.

I have him on three teams that have some games in. He's hitting .333, .339 and .340. Expensive dh.

I've got a .310 in 58 abs

a .276 in 58 abs

a .219 in only 32 abs

but a .210 in 124 abs

cumulative in 272 abs is a .242 avg.

All good lefty parks with bats in front and behind.

How does a "W" hitter with BP homeruns work? I thought a "W" hitter would have BP homeruns turned into flyouts

That is not unheard of for deadball era guys. Others like that include Jesse Burkett and Joe Kelley.

What's amazing is that the guy got 147 rbi's in only 102 games. Best rbi season ever I think.

The are BP HR when on the hitters card and BP Single when on the pitchers card
