What's better in LF, 4(-4)e12 or 3(+1)e10

:?: :!: :?: This is why I've given up playing $80M leagues in ATG VI. Carter, Williams, and Banks combine for nearly 150 HRs and 400 RBIs in that park against 70% righty pitching. With this unlimited player pool, constructing a winning $80M team is like playing darts blindfolded.

The 3 righties in my lineup faced approx. 33% lefties.

My reasons for playing them were as follows:
1. They offered my lefthanded hitters protection against not only LH starting pitching but the Joe Sambitos and Kenny Rogers of the bullpen.

2. There defence (at least Carter and Williams) would be good regardless of park.

3. I play 81 games on the road. A win on the road counts as much as a win at home.

4. I also feel all three are good values.

I'd be inclined to go for range in LF, as the cannon arm has less value at that corner. The LF'ers shorter throw on a runner going from 1st to 3rd is emulated by the game, reducing the penalty of the bad arm a bit. I don't worry too much about arms in general, save for CF, whose arm comes into play a lot more often than the other two (at least it seems to in all the computer games I've run at home).

Plus, Pedro has told me he's more into the game when he plays the field. :-)

The difference in hits allowed between 3 and 4 is enough to make me not care about the arm.
