Weekly Income League

Clarification

[quote:42e5cd989d]can we pick more than one player a week as long as additional players are not anyone else's designates and we're still under the week's cap?[/quote:42e5cd989d]

You can add two or more players, whatever you want, as long as you don't exceed that week's salary cap. The way that I'll monitor that is by looking at your "cash available", because as we make roster moves the 10% drop penalty will eat into what you can spend. For example, after week 2 your salary cap is $100M but you'll actually be carrying a roster around 98 million in order to maintain a cash available balance of at least $100M because you lost 2 million or so to add/drop some players. Even though it's a 140M cap league, by the end of the season all of us will only have less than 136 million in total salary on the roster. I hope that makes sense.

Also, you can't "take out a loan" or "borrow" against future income.

The opportunity to reserve one player is a way for you to plan ahead, knowing you'll be able to add a certain key player, and not lose him to someone else simply because you weren't online immediately after Sunday's games are posted. You'll have a one-hour window to select that one player, and teams with a later window are not allowed to add that player. You can select a player anytime after your one-hour window, but not before. I'd prefer for us to post them on this message board. If you'll be unavailable, either send someone else a ranked list of 2 or 3 players you want and have them post it for you when your time comes up, or if you're not too concerned about keeping things secret, post your ranked list on the message board.

This seems overly complicated, but I feel like it is the fairest way to balance things out, both for teams at the bottom of the standings and for guys who take a more passive approach to managing their teams.

One player draft schedule - 10/2

Postby supertyphoon » Sun Oct 02, 2011 12:52 am

10 am - 11 am / Roosky
11 am - 12 pm / springer0432
12 pm - 1 pm / mrharryc
1 pm - 2 pm / nexrad
2 pm - 3 pm / nels52
3 pm - 4 pm / rburgh
4 pm - 5 pm / nymets99
5 pm - 6 pm / scorehouse
6 pm - 7 pm / Petrosian
7 pm - 8 pm / ggrover15
8 pm - 9 pm / motherscratcher
9 pm - 10 pm / Goreds

You can designate one player you intend to draft tomorrow (Monday). If you can't post your player during the time slot above, either send it to someone else below you on the list or jump in whenever you can. Just be aware that if you pick later, you run the risk of not getting the player you want.

Please post your pick either here on the "Weekly Income League" thread (preferred) or as a Trade/Mail Center message, addressed to all teams.
