man SS is weak...

anyone who is decent defensively that is left, sucks at hitting. Anyone who can hit, even a little, ZR, UZR and RF all suck.

Yeah, I nearly grabbed Castro. His 29 errors and his unknown range scared me away this early. I'm hoping Yadier maintains his defensive ratings to go along with his solid hitting this year.

Was Peralta a bad pick? Where did you have him ranked?

He's a good hitter but I was scared off by his glove. In 2010 he's a 4e8 at SS, although I think in 2011 he was good enough to justify a 2...but sometimes Hal is fickle with promoting a guy's range too quickly.

My prediction is Castro gets a 2e29, which is good enough. Cabrera is the only slam dunk "1" in the group and his bat is pretty good, which is why he was my top ranked of that bunch.

Peralta, while having a great year at the plate, usually never gets better than a 3 @ SS.

His defensive metrics rate very well, but will SOM give him what he earned?

On the other side, A Cabrera's defensive metrics look horrible, like worst in the league bad. He was bad last year as well however, so again, who knows what SOM will give these guys.

The only saving grace at SS, I guess, is that most teams will have starters there who are a liability in one way or another!

If Peralta gets a 3 or 4 (which he will) hes a DH. IMO

Michael Young is listed at 2B in the draft. So I took a look at his defensive stats and wonder if he will be listed as a 2B while only playing 14 games there? He had no errors 4.26 RF and a 6.053 ZR whatever those are. I do understand range but have no idea what the ZR means and are those good numbers? I would guess he would be a 4(0e). Could I get some help here.

Thank you Mike
