Guys, I understand real life can make it tough to get on the site sometimes but that's why I'm emphasizing using proxy's, either with the stratdraft site or just sending them to me or other owners so they can announce them. I hate to keep lecturing (ok, I love to lecture) but we did emphasize fast drafting in the signup thread. Of course everyone can have a bad day once in a while, even Mr. Impatient himself, derfs. Sooner or later I'll probably be slow with a pick myself. But use proxys if at all possible. I know sometimes when you use proxys you end up with not quite what you wanted (like 2 RF's) but consistently being slow really drags down everyone else. Quick drafts are usually much more fun than slow ones, and you won't have to read these lectures 8-) .

Today should go faster until we get back to the two speed bumps who won't use proxys. Starting with the 11th round the clock will go to 2 hours. If any owner gets a 3rd time violation I will consider looking for a replacement, depending on the circumstances and feedback from everyone.

I agree completely. I waited and waited and waited hoping Pierce's was about, then when midnight approached I went to bed since there was no time limit. First thing before going off to teach this AM I checked in and picked. Setting proxies seems like a good idea, but when you set the proxy wrong....

Do you really want us to send you proxies just incase the system doesn't work-- I got Konerko instead of Ortiz, for example. No complaints, but just a little surprise. Can I do that through email? Happy to assist

I primarily meant sending them in case you can't access stratdraft because of travel/work. If you want to send proxys to me or others instead of using startdraft proxys we can do that, as long as you do it before your time limit is up. I can post your picks on stratdraft just as if you picked it or picks can be posted on the ILC by others and then I can put them on strat.

I'm not going to change a pick after it's been made unless it's under very extenuating circumstances since that would be opening up a huge can of toxic worms. If you use the groups function on stratdraft you should end up with who you want, though stuff does happen. Would be nice if you could list more total proxys and more groups.

Pm works better for contacting me since I dont check my email much until around 4 pm est.

My pick was supposed to be David Wright, NOT Jamie Wright. I got those little bitty numbers wrong. Can this be corrected!!!???? :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

I did set proxies very carefully and just logged in a minute or two before my predecessor pick only to see this horrific blunder show up! My previous four main choices were all off the board, but David was NEXT or so I thought.

My previous proxy fired fine and I got Crawford, but here I was after David, my nth choice at 3B, but somehow I missed the tiny little number....

I changed Cubit's pick to David Wright instead of Jamey Wright. Since it was unlikely anyone had J. Wright on their proxy lists yet I don't think that will mess anyone up. It is easy to mess up the numbers so make sure you look at the player names after you hit submit (I accidentally put Roger Bernadina instead of Berkman on top of my list, but I caught it before I left the page).
