my father-in-law has prostrate cancer. I would appreciate if anyone with some info that you can send me in a PM. I want to be "strong" for my wife and have suddenly become speechless and want to be her anchor....Thanks in advance.......Bobby

Sorry Bobby, no words of advice or experience with this, just well wishes to you and your entire family.

God Bless!

Joe Torre and Mel Stotlemyer both had it and they seem to have beat it.
So it looks like its one of those cancers that if you catch it early enough it can be done away with.

bobby, the people I know who have had it all recovered. Gulianni had it. It is very treatable if caught early enough. Not like some other forms of cancer. This one can be beat. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Sorry to hear that Bobby. My friend got that about 3 years ago. They implanted a radioactive thingamajiggy in him. The cancer is all gone now. He said it was virtually painless..
