Normalization

Normalization

Postby Mr Baseball World » Wed Oct 05, 2011 10:20 am

To those that think there is some form of normalization in the game, what do you think it is/does? Is it just slowing the record setting HR numbers....ie...Bonds hits 60 HR's in the first half and slows up? Or is there a damper on teams that have records that are too good?

Can I expect my 47-22 2010 team which has a 160 million dollar payroll(at least 20 mill more than any other team and 60 mill more than some) to slow up? Course if I get swept there I will lose a stud player so that may cause my demise anyway.

Normalization is an axe. Some people like to grind it.
