Happy Columbus Day everyone!

Or at least I think it's a happy occasion, I dunno, I hope I'm not supposed to be fasting or anything.

The next batch of monthly new ATG cards will be added to All-Time Greats VI this [b:86995a6ccb]Monday, October 17[/b:86995a6ccb]. This and all batches going forward will contain approximately [b:86995a6ccb]20[/b:86995a6ccb] new cards and will be made available on Monday to all [i:86995a6ccb]new [/i:86995a6ccb] leagues, i.e. they won't be added to the free agent pools of existing leagues.

In honor of the Milwaukee Brewers 2011 postseason run, this batch will be comprised entirely of players from the 1982 and 2008 Brewers.

I'll be posting some teasers in this thread starting tomorrow (Tuesday, 10/11).

See you then! Just kidding about the Brewers.

It would be nice if everyone could vote in an organized poll on which cards they want to see added each month.

Something along the lines where say 50 cards are up for voting in a poll posted on the MB's - across all positions for 1 week. The top 20 cards out of the 50 getting the most votes after the week is over, would be added the following month. (preferably the cards being listed in the poll are drawn from the player request list thread.)

I think it would allow more customer participation in the process and create a little bit of excitement.

The problem with that is that Hal Richman gets the only vote that counts.

I am tired of hearing Hal Richman used as an excuse for why things are not possible. Someone please get me his phone number..

If we accept non-* SPs are priced at 80% of * SPs, there is a distinct lack of top shelf SPs if you choose to employ a 5-man rotation.

There are only 6 non-* SP priced at > 7 million, compared to 36 * SPs at > 8.75 million.

Bernie, please make 5-man rotations a more viable option for higher-cap leagues by making non- * SPs a priority for new cards.

If the next 20 cards are Brewers then don't bother posting teasers. :x

His direct number please. that's the number listed on the website. I want to talk to Hal Richman, not a customer service rep .

Good luck with that. Whenever I've talked to him its when I showed up at Glen Head to buy stuff.

Petro, look on the brightside. Maybe you get a good Gorman Thomas card. One where he hits over .250...

Oops sorry, he never did hit over .250, did he?
