...interesting choices, thanks for the teasers.

Do we have a Bob Ueker card?

I think there is already a Uecker card.

I'm glad to see more top-end starter options being made available. I'd still like to see the great Saberhagen card added to the set. And we should have more high-end 5-day starter options to make that a viable strategy option.

I've used Hamilton a lot, even with the bad defense. He'll be a more popular choice for CF, even though I suspect the +3 arm will be too much of a negative. Earl Combs with more speed and OBP.

Around $11 million for Sudden Sam?

I'll second that.

New Santo is a huge upgrade to.any of his other cards. Plus, all the doubles and triples against RH make him viable in small-ball.

The only card here that will" never" get used is Eckersley. He's just another 5R $5 million starter, with a ballpark HR problem.

Hamilton will be a 0 game injury guy. 558 AB + 128 BB... (not 0 injury though)
.403/.521/.523 - OPS+ 156 - 8.6 WAR

Santo 64. 608 AB + 88 BB... 0 game injury. (not 0 injury though)
.313/.398/.564 - OPS+ 164 - 7.4 oWAR / .4 dWAR. Nice.

Sudden Sam 68 Highest K total in the Year of the Pitcher. highest K/9 too. Highest Walk total as well.

Eck 79. led the league with a 150 ERA+. Interesting card.

expected more triples on Hamilton's card (Boyer has more chances)....Hamilton hit 15 that year. Guess that 3-10 will come up a lot if you have 700pa's though, huh?

Eck probably only going to be used in theme leagues/franchises etc...

Mcdowell is killer against lefties what's he gonna be a 4L (or more?)

Will it be a Cardinal then? :D
