I am not sure why it would take anyone longer than 2 minutes to decide who they want to draft. It's not like regular season baseball where you have to study the players before the draft. The data for SOM is static and I think everyone is familiar with all the players.
Personally, I want to make all my picks live. If there's no clock it's going to be a lot longer than 45min-1 hour to do 6 rounds. I just do not want to sit in front of the pc all night waiting for guys to make picks.

I just want to get everyone opinion on pre-auto draft trades.
Since the DD Draft will be on Thursday, but the auto-draft to be done on the following Tuesday, is anyone open to allowing pre-auto-draft trading with your 6 drafted DD players?
I am open to this, but want to get opinions. IMO, it would be ok to negotiate with other teams privately. However, you would have to post the finalized trade on this thread prior to the auto-draft, and both owners would need to confirm on the MB prior to the auto-draft.
Any thoughts? I just do not want to have any issues where someone thought they agreed to a trade and the other owner claims there was a misunderstanding. I am ok either way on this.

Thanks to rburgh, the league is now full.
The Diamond dope draft time will be tomorrow night (Thursday) at 9:30pm. Pushing it back 1/2 hour to help accomodate sschu.
There will be a 2 minute clock on the DD Draft.
Auto-draft is tentavively scheduled for Tuesday after the new cards are released.
I will post a request for a randomizer. I will set up the league on DD dope tonight, so if anyone wishes to set proxies they will be able to.
