I set up the draft in diamond Dope. I have not done this in a long time, so if anyone has recent experience, please help me out.
Is there a way to schedule the time? When does the clock start? After the 1st pick?
There is a column that say "Notify" next to each name. Should this be set to yes or No?
fyi...I also realized everyones email address is attached to their log in name.

I don't think you can schedule it. Why not just leave it open, and we may get a bunch of picks made before tomorrow evening. You can then set the clock for 2:00 starting at 9:30 Eastern.
I tried to set notify on for a draft I set up, and it didn't seem to work.

I turned the time off. Isn't it open by default? If guys want to draft early, I am ok with your suggestion above as long as DD doesn't skip anyone's turn to pick. The remaining draft would start at 9:30EST w/2 min clock.
If you start early & DD skips any owners pick or DD auto-picks w/o their knowledge, the draft will be void & started over at the official time.

The diamond Dope draft is open. Per rburgh's suggestion (and as a compromise for drfreeze), I have turned the 2 min clock off until tomorrow at 9:30PM.
Anyone who wishes to draft early may do so. Keep in mind that the draft order is in effect so if the person before you does not draft, the draft will not proceed.
The clock will go back to 2 minute picks at 9:30pm tomorrow night. And all remaining picks will be made at the official draft time scheduled.

Just a reminder to put your team in by Tuesday night.

If you do not put them at the top, you risk drafting payers who are already owned thru the 6 round DD draft. You will be basically wasting those first 6 picks[/b:908c5de66a]
**You will have to drop any player previously drafted (thru DD) and will not be entitled to compensation. By that I mean you can not ask another team to trade a particular player to you for them to get a player they already entitled to. **
I have been in leagues in the past where this was an issue. I just want to clarify and advise everyone to try to avoid this scenario.

TRW...I don't think you want to set league up until...Bernie adds cards...so they will be eligible for draft...Best to confirm

I haven't set up a league yet in SOM. I was not going to one up on the TSN (SOM) website until Monday evening.
