Injuries and the Playoffs

If a player is injured before the end of the regular season, do the two rest days between the end of the regular season and the start of the playoffs count as "games" for the purpose of calculating games missed because of an injury?

Yes. It takes a game off of his injury. Look at how long he is injured and that will tell you how long he is out. "Injured through game 2 of the Semi Finals" If he was injured on the last game of the season for 3 games he will miss the first 2 games.

I may be wrong, but I think there are two rest days, so two days come off of injury.
