**Theme League- DD complete - Auto-draft Tuesday/ Updates**

***Tuesday's Auto-Draft - PLEASE READ***

Postby TRW » Sat Oct 15, 2011 7:33 am

All,

[b:f850014263]Auto-Draft[/b:f850014263] - League to be created Monday night (10/17) - pending the addition of new cards. The league is expected to fill and auto-draft by Tuesday night (10/18). If anyone needs another day, please post your request. I would prefer to auto-draft Tuesday, waivers on Thursday. That gives us some time to straighten out any teams if there are any problems. And also a couple of days for trading before the season starts.

[b:f850014263][color=darkblue:f850014263]***When you fill out your draft card, please make sure you put down your 6 drafted DD players & do not list a DD drafted player that does not belong to you.***[/color:f850014263][/b:f850014263]

(Sorry for sounding like a broken record on this. I have done a few partial DD Drafts and at least 1 or 2 people always seem to draft players that do not belong to them.)

[b:f850014263]You may draft a full $200m team, as we did in drfreeze49's original league. After waivers, you must cut players to meet the rules.[/b:f850014263]

[u:f850014263][b:f850014263]Rules reminder:[/b:f850014263][/u:f850014263]

Rules: $200m cap w/DH rules. (Waivers rule)

1) The roster is limited to 25 players.

**You must carry 15 hitters and 10 Pitchers. (You have the option to carry 24 players if you wish, but you can not exceed the 15H/10P rule).

2) Of the 15 Hitters - 10 hitters may be any price. The remaining 5 hitters must be less than $3.

3) For the 10 Pitchers -

2 Starting Pitchers (or (SP/RP) - maximum of 2 pitchers over $9

2 SP or SP/RP - maximum of 2 Pitchers w/SP rating $6 to 9

2 SP or SP/RP - maximum of 2 Pitchers w/SP rating $4 to $6

1 Pure reliever (closer type) - maximum of 1 pitcher w/RP only rating over $4

3 RP or SP/RP - 3 pitchers w/RP rating must be less than $4

***Please note if you carry a players lower card (or vice-versa) & convert it, your roster must still be in compliance w/the rules above. Bob Gibson is a good example, as he has 3 cards, 1 in each price range. If you decide to convert his card, you will need to make sure your SP at the other 2 levels are in compliance as well.***

We should definitely put our six DD players at the top of our player list. Otherwise, we could inadvertently end up with someone else's DD pick. For instance, if I seek an available starting pitcher close in price range to Slim Jones but another team with higher draft priority gets that player, HAL could end up assigning Jones to me. We can avoid that by putting the DD six at the top.

I originally suggested that, but a couple of guys don't want to do that, so it is up to you how to fill out your draft card. Correct me if I am wrong, but if no one else has a player you listed, don't you get awarded that player? If that is the case, there won't be a problem as long as guys do not put DD drafted players on their card. There is no way to enforce how someone sets up their draft card. If you do get someone else's DD Draft pick they have to give the player back to you. It is up to the owner of the card if they want to give you compensation or not.

drfreeze/roosky - I haven't set up a draft card yet. And probably won't get to that for another hour or two. So, If one of you guys want to set up a league go ahead. Just set up a private league and password protect it to keep the riff-raff out.
