Ok, I can either expedite things for season 1, or wait til eric returns.

I think I will do this:
--get a randomizer run today, then we will begin drafting teams today.
--get us to fill sometime Saturday, which will put league start still at Oct31
This will give Marty a little time this weekend or on that Monday OCt31.
This will give Eric time to get his team set before he leaves next Wednesday

There is not a lot to do other than set your lineups and pitching rotations etc, anyway.

This league will obviously have to complete a season before another can start, making it a little more relaxed in that way at least.

I also plan to post Season Wrap-ups like I did in the Franchise League a couple years back...............

Hi Andy,

First.. thank you for putting so much work into this tournament. I can't wait to see how some of the box scores and stats come out given the composition of this league.. I think in season one, any team with a 240 team batting average will lead the league..

Just a few quick question before I make my pick.

1.) To confirm, some of the players you have listed do not have a card associates with the designated team year. For example, the Eddie Cicotte on the 1903 Red Sox (has cards from 1910 and 1919) - I am assuming we are free to use his more valuable 1919 card in this case. correct?

2.) Before the picks start, you have put together rosters and made some calls to fill in competitive gaps (somewhat, I still hope I do not end up with the 1930 Phillies). We must draft the cards you have preselected for us.. . We must use the preselected roster.. Correct?

Unless I specifically indicated one card to be used,you may use any card representation of that player.
Also, you must play with the preselected roster.
Some teams may have more players to choose from.
