I understand Pot. But what I don't want to worry if players are not avail when I go to draft...the trade would be just like we were exchanging players...just instead the pick now shows me with those rights....I know crazy :D

shows me at # 1 and #25

after trade in addition to your picks now you also have #1 and #25...all done...pick who you want and you would have already dealt the player to me who I wanted......

my wish list:

1 - Waivers - I would like to see the time for waivers changed at least on week-days. I don't know about you guys, but most of the time I am either busy at work at 5pm or traveling home from work during waivers. I live in NYC, but I think it must be even harder for guys living on the west coast to do a 5pm est waivers. I would like to either be able to customize the time or just push it back a couple of hours to 9 or 10pm est.

2 - Filter Upgrade - have to agree with doctorfreeze. I would like to be able to sort by runs. I would like to have the ability to customize the filters, where you can choose your own headings and filter by values. (greater than, less than, etc.) I would also like to be able to filter by AL, NL, Year.

3 - Line-ups - I would like to see default left and right line-ups for each opponents stadium. I know there has been suggestions to set line-up per pitcher, but I think that is over-kill. I think 12 sets of L/R line-ups is just right.

4- Auto-draft - change the algorythm. My biggest pet peeve since I have been playing. There needs to be a more realistic way that the system auto-drafts players to teams.

5 - Live Draft - w/salary caps

this won't happen as there are too many people who spend too much $$ who enjoy the "game within the game" of the current draft system.

Am I the only one who has no effing idea what Palonian is talking about?

I like those ideas. It would be great to set the waiver time when you set the league. Also, would be great to get a little leeway on the cap to facilitate trades.

but the best thing would be the make the database of players more sortable with multiple fields and ranges. I'd like to be able to do this without having to re-enroll in college to learn me some computers.

1. That when you check avoid lefty or righties on a batter, when a reliever that is on their "wrong" side comes in late in the game, they actually get pinch hit for. :roll:

2. More lineup options i.e. home vs road, backwards pitchers etc.

3. Option for league creator to have clutch pitching on or off, ditto for home field advantage.

4. Create Bernie's version of diamond dope that actually gets updated in a timely fashion and lists actuals for live drafts.

5.Each manager gets their own private page, sort of like the recently introduced park performance page, only with actuals for every player we've used in ATG VI, sortable by cap and park.

6. More caps, i.e. 120M.

7. Bernie to put aside his comic illustration gig or whatever he spends his work time on instead of Strat, and create a live draft with caps. We've only been asking for a couple of years. He can always go back to comics after he accomplishes this.

8. Fix the manager page that has, for example, Mr. Baseball World with nearly perfect performance, despite his obvious ineptitude as a manager:

I can't see how this guy is ranked way ahead of Nev or I, on performance. I would think that a .490 lifetime winning pct. might qualify you as "little league bat boy candidate", but not much else -- certainly not a HOF living legend, loved and respected by all. Please fix this so that it actually reflects performance and not how many "friends" you've solicited or accepted or whatever else "performance" consists of. Hard to tell as when you click on "what's this"after performance nothing happens.
