Waivers have not passed thru yet so i will be changing my 3rd-4th pitchers.

I will also be adding a closer better against righties to platoon. (Ryan Franklin)

Bad link.

Use the drop down menu in the upper right corner of our team page...select your team and then copy that link.

My two cents

You need a 3Bman. David Wright works out very well for Wrigley in my experience. But Casey McGehee would be perfect too. Defense isn't great for him but his offense is very good in my experience.

McGehee for me in a definite pitchers park...

You seem to need a DH unless of course your league has pitchers hitting. If it's a DH league I would look hard at players like Dunn or Scott. Unless Votto or AGON is available. Hamilton would be great for you also.

Verlander would be a great starting pitcher for you. Probably taken though. Kuo would be a great reliever to have here.

I don't like Bruce. Maybe his card will produce for you though. I know it's Wrigley but Bruce is not my favorite.

And I would cut Gutierrez for a better hitting CF. Someone that can hit some HRs, hit from the left side and play good defense. Torres would be good.

I know you can't do all those things I listed. But they are some ideas that have worked for me.

I'd also rather have McCann than Posey for your Park. You would save some money too.

If you can find a good lefty hitter (someone who punishes right-handed pitchers) for a corner OF spot I would platoon him with Aaron Cunningham.

One observation is that your relief pitching needs some adjusting. You've got some decent pitchers, but they're all fairly expensive and are all even or slanted toward lefties. You need somebody that can get righties out. I'm of the belief that since most relievers don't see a whole lot of innings, that you don't need to spend that much money there. Switch for some cheap hard righties (and lefties) and move the savings elsewhere.

Yeah, you can use guys like braddock, Lopez, or Slaten as cheap lefty relievers.

I really like Belisle and Kuo for your park as your two premium relievers.

-too much spent on relievers, and they lean too much left (you will face about 70% righties)
-need to upgrade no. 3 & 4 starters
-need to upgrade LF & 3b (some power if possible)
-if DH league, Hawpe ok to platoon against lefties and need the rightee half of the platoon, if no DH cut Hawpe (and use $$ for the upgrades)
