I guess I need to learn how to read a contract. I thought we were randomizing and then drafting the franchises as opposed to them being assigned? Since they were assigned how was the NeL draft order formulated?

The randomization was used to assign teams as well as the draft order for the NeL.

1. If we think this is collusion then no trades allowed...

2. The draft order was gathered from a request for random numbers from Frank Bailey even before we had 12 players and was published as is

3. The draft order was specified in the beginning...I decided to keep it with numbers dictating draft...

4. Finally since we have not started I have no problem of canceling...

I keep seeing the NeL players are some part of a reverse order and I am trying to figure the formula. Originally I thought a manager with the first pick would draft a franchise and then receive the 12th NeL pick. The 2nd franchise pick would receive the 11th NeL pick et.... (minus the concessions given to the three excluded franchises). All a moot point now I suppose.

I'm for continuing here with the Nel picks and moving forward.

I do think the trade decision will just preclude any rumpled feelings down the road, so thanks for your post.
