I knew this would be taken out of context right when I wrote it.
Obviously Pujols won't be able to top Cobb's record of .366. He'd have to hit about .400 the rest of the way so he'll just have to live with being a .328 hitter.
The point is it's very plausible that he wind's up there in a BUNCH of stats.
Homers, RBI"s, Runs, TB, 2B and SLG. Not many guys can say that
I'll agree the rate stats will be harder although I checked and he's currently 3rd In slugging with a pretty big buffer on the guys below him.
Rickey's SB record may be in jeopardy though. :D
Oh and Petro you're right. Williams basically missed 5 seasons due to the wars of his day.
