Give your opinion of this trade:
Sandbrg + Mize + D. Chance for Tiant + Gordon + B. Leonard

Sandberg, Chance, Mize are a little better than Tiant, Gordon, and Leonard, but if the guy getting Gordon has a better 2B option then he is getting miles the better of the deal. So, in that case, both sides win on the trade.

Pretty even I think. Sandberg over Gordon but some people platoon Sandberg. I usually try to do better than Gordon at second at 200mil. Leonard and Mize about even I think. Leonard is underrated. At 200mil a lot of times Mize can't fit into the lineup. Depends on a teams depth. If Mize is an odd man out, I would rather have my extra firstbaseman Leonard instead of Mize for late game defense. Tiant over Chance. Also there are some guys out there that will pay extra to get their childhood favorites on their team.

If I have to think about it for this long, then it must be fairly even. Depends on the rest of each team also. 1/2 a second baseman + bench/extra first baseman + #3 or #4 starter for #1 or #2 starter + every day but not great second baseman + platoon/extra first baseman.

As far as a teade evaluation it seems like a reasonable teade. I've seen much worse teades. Tough call but maybe you could counter his teade with a teade of your own.

agree- to me this isnt a bad offer at all.
Specially compared to the one sided stuff we see, at least both folks get a decent upgrade out of it.
