Favorite trading partners

it is human nature to be most vocal about negative things. Just the way most of us are wired. But occasionally for a change of pace I like to try emphazing the positive.

Who are some of your favorite trading partners?
Who are the most reasonable in negotiations?
Who makes the most fair offers?
Who consistently considers what would be a good fit for your ballpark, roster, etc.

Any other qualities you appreciate most when trading and who is the best in that area?

Hopefully you get the idea. Not trying to tell anyone not to complain about trades in the threads dedicated for that purpose. Just trying to put what I preach in to practice and take an opposite approach.

I actually don't keep track of who's who

Anyone that clicks accept or reject and not keep me waiting is OK.
Anyone that declines with an explanation sometimes spurs counteroffers or ends the discussion, both OK.

A simple "I don't like Mays in my park" or something to that effect, I recently got one of those pre-season, no problem.

Same league, I traded Mays for Cobb.

Not an answer to your question, due to above reason, just throwing it out.

Send an offer that makes sense. Good.
Send me an offer that is mutually beneficial. Very good.
Send a counter offer, also good.
Explain thinking for me, good (possible bad if you are trying to con me).

Get creative for mutual benefit, good.
Respond to an explanation of why I won't do trade X but I like trade Y, also winner.

I don't get or make many trade offers since I play mostly in theme or franchise leagues. But in the few leagues where trading does occur, most of the offers are legit and fair. I've traded with Nev a few times and would rank him close to the top of my list of those I'd like to hear from.

Above responses reminded me of something that went down a couple years ago. Someone offered me Larkin. I responded I thought Larkin was useless without someone like Ozzie Smith to platoon with. Next thing I knew he had gone out and got the Wizard and had an offer sitting in my inbox of Larkin+Smith +others. 8-)

I forget who all was in the package. I was just so impressed he took me so serious and went out and got Ozzie I just hit accept. What choice did I have?
 He was obviously listening and making an effort.
