One of the best bad ball hitters i ever saw. He was always fun to watch and his smile was contagious. It's great to see him at the ball park, brings back childhood memories of those great 70's teams.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, and my babysitter used to live next to him. She said he was a great guy, and I used to have her tell me about every time she saw him. 8-)

Manny was a remarkable player and great guy. Got an autograph from him at a mall appearance back in 1972; I was at the very end of a long line and the place was miserably hot and stuffy but he treated me like I was the first kid in line.

Followed Roberto's lead on bad-ball hitting and kicked it up a notch!
