SBDL Draft Thread

[Palanion]

RULES:
1. Same 80 mil., no DH, waivers.
2. Each team announces three 'keepers', no roster limits. Remnants of previous rosters are now considered free agents.
3. Seven-round live draft commences after all teams have announced keepers. Draft is serpentine, beginning worst to first.
4. Eligible players for draft is all free agents.
5. Owners can change ballparks, and must announce the new park anytime before the live draft.
6. After live draft, fill out autodraft card with 10 drafted/kept players at the bottom of the card.
7. League has been realigned (see "SBDL discussion" thread).

No 3-1-3 this time? Too bad, I like the steal round concept, it makes deciding on your keepers more interesting and definitely makes the pre-draft process more fun/frustrating. Also, I think the 3-1-3 with an NFL rather than serpentine style live draft gives weaker teams a great chance to improve and enough flexibility to try a different approach while still allowing better performing teams to keep a decent part of what they have built, intact (but not too much).

I do admit to wanting to keep more than three (selfish, I know), but I like this team and feel like a father who's adopted a wayward child and made him good, as I improved it each season after taking over.

Sure would hate picking last each round, though. :wink:
