Just a 12 team league. Maybe there are some reasons why it has taken that long, which are sometimes understandable as real life does get in the way. Furstrating when you see people post messages for other leagues though and still not make a pick. Oh well guess it's just my own impatience that I need to deal with. (just hate loose ends)

Can you tell I'm impatient too? I think Aray has it right though. People have things going on that only they really know about. And that stuff can come out of nowhere.

I'm thinking it's more than impatience. People simply don't always behave as I would like them to. I got to get used to that. Can't control them. :o

If approved the Franchise Option will work like this:

A weighted lottery based on the current season's regular season results will be held to determine franchise draft order. Each owner will draft one MLB franchise and then before the spring draft cuts will select two players from their franchise. The players must be unowned in our league. They can be from any level of the franchise as long as they have signed a contract.

Franchise players can be traded and will be subject to the same roster rules as other players, players with no MLB experience will be placed on the prospect roster and will not count against the 40 man roster. A new franchise draft will be held every 4 years (2012, 2016,....), owners who want to retain their current franchise can opt out of a franchise draft. In the future we could expand the rules to include more franchise players, expanded rosters, and trading franchises but for now will keep it simple.
