680 AB+BB gets you a limit of rest of the game on any injury roll. Playing all of your team's games in a given season gets you a card with no injury rolls at all. They are mutually exclusive.

A couple of known oddball cards - Tubby Scales and Cap Anson 1894 cannot be injured against RHP but are fair game against lefties.

Negro leaguers kind of get the shaft here on injuries, since most of them routinely jumped their teams for a game or two when a more lucrative opportunity presented itself. Often, players were on the rosters of a team in both the Negro National (Western) and American (Eastern) leagues for the same season. Satchel Paige often played for the KC Monarchs and Homestead Grays in the same year. I suspect he demanded, and got, appearance fees.

League starts tonight and I am very happy with my offense. Found some power with the lesser Foxx and decided the offensive difference between Nellie Fox and Collins was too great not to risk the injury with Collins. Question though, do I have enough SP? Should I downgrade either Lindstrom or more likely Simmons to free up some $ to add to my 3/4 starters. In addition, Ive seen mixed results for the lesser Johnson card. Should I downgrade Walter to his 10.08 card to free up even more $? As a reminder, I have two Polo Grounds 41 and a Great American Ballpark 05 in my div. Thanks...
