I would be game if the draft were not Serpentine, rather fixed so that EVERYONE has a first pick in a round.... similar to the way we have done Position drafts.

That way everyone would have a pick at every slot in the draft order. Simply flip flopping is inherently unfair to those in the middle.

Took forever to find the draft sequence. Can simply replace the "Position" with the "Decade"... or can even allow the manager with the first pick in the round to randomly CHOOSE what decade he wants the round to be.


The Draft sequence will be as follows:

Thanks Novie, that's exactly what I was thinking of/hoping for. I tried explaining that in my opening paragraph by saying "we will rotate picking decades" but can see where that is not clear.

I hadn't thought of a way to ensure that every manager picks at every position. I am more than down with your suggestion so thank you!! Hope you're on board Novie

Think Nels needs to clarify a few things... such as is 100M possible? And is 12th round a free for all or make it NeL.

I for one could be interested in a 4 time league with 80, 100, 140, and 200 caps. Doesn't need to be a commitment, but I for one would sign up for the next one if we stayed at 80M for this one.

In previous posts I stated that I would like it if:

-Each team may draft 1 negro league player at ANY time
-the 12th round were a free for all of all undrafted players.

I feel both of these things will allow more flexibility (a much needed thing in this tight 80mil cap)

Now I also said that if there's any legitimate complaints about these or any other aspect of these league that I'd be more than willing to accomodate.

I realize 80 mil may be tough and a little agonizing at times (to some more than others ; ) but I like leagues with plenty of attrition.

I like the idea of higher caps and would be down for playing in one of those leagues should it start up.
