Decade Triple Crown

I was reading about the Albert Pujols sweepstakes in the newspaper today, and the article made an off-hand reference to him as a triple crown winner of the past decade. I don't know if that's a fact, but considering his amazing consistency, I certainly think it's possible even though he hasn't won a single season triple crown (yet).

Does anyone know if Pujols (.328, 445 HR, 1329 RBI in 11 seasons) has the best stats in all three categories over the past 10 years in the NL?

If so, is that extremely rare? Or have other players like Ruth and Williams done it before?

Albert leads in a number of offensive categories from the past 10 years including the triple crown..He beats Ichiro by 2 points in BA. and Aroid by 5 home runs.

I did a couple of 10 year runs on Babe Ruth but he either had Hornsby or Al Simmons ahead of him when it came to BA.

Pujols has had arguably the best 10-year stretch of any player ever, and that's to begin his career!

The Splendid Splinter from 1939-1951 is tied with Stan the Man at BA. of .347 TW led in HR's with 323, Johnny Mize was 2nd at 280, TW first in RBI's with 1261,Bobby Doerr! 2nd in RBI's with 1153.

Bob Elliott must have a much better card out there than what we've got. I've only seen him used in theme leagues and restricted card sets.

Gotta love a guy whose nickname was Mr. Team.
Yeah, the 1947 MVP campaign might be a nice add. Not a great defensive third, but serviceable.
