Great additions so far. The most expensive SS and 2B in the card set, a $6.6 million RF that starts every game and hits RHP, a couple of $9 million LH starters, and a good Nolan Ryan card in the $7.7 million range.

Oliva's card is pretty useless. Not only won't he start every game, he won't get used at all except maybe part -time at DH. However, the other teasers have all been winners... so far.

In the beginning, there was Max Bishop.

Jim Bouton, charter member of ATG :D I'm guessing he is now confined to the 1969 season.

For those few of us who also play Fantasim, seeing Arky Vaughan is a welcome sight! His top year - which manifests itself quickly in the Fantasim mystery game - is a joy to behold and having it here will provide owners quite a Christmas present.

Mind if I do some shameless promoting??

Decades Draft 80m DH 7 to Go!!

It'll be a live draft on DD where each round is a declared draft in which we all must pick a player from. It got some interest at first but has been sitting for a few days.

Check out the link if you're interested, should be a ton of fun and a great chance to use some of the new SWEET cards. 8-)

Oh and U da man Bernie

[quote:5d522317fc="bernieh"]I only hesitate because from what I can tell, this version of Arky Vaughan has significantly more HR power than the one I see in the CD-ROM game.

That does seem like an unrealistic amount of homeruns on a card for a guy who hit 19 dingers in 707 plate appearances that season. (The MLB leaders were Greenberg and Foxx with 36 apiece.)

The card as a whole is amazing. It's gotta be like a 12.5-14 mil card right?
