The LEAST realistic card in ATG6

Those are good examples of players with low number of innings or at bats, but I still think there is nothing like Ken Smith's extreme card vs. lefties based upon one plate appearance where he happened to draw a walk.

It is my understanding that SOM no longer creates cards like this. In the 200x version of the game, if a platoon player has a result like this, it is my understanding that they will build his vs. lefty side of the card based on a recent historical average and not a 1 AB sample size.

I think the only reason he is in online SOM, is that the 1982 Braves were included in the original team version of the game, and they have added all those cards as part of the expanded card set in the current ATG versions.

Triples King Joe Evans is one of those anomaly cards. He only played 56 games in 1920 -- his strat card year -- and hit 9 triples in 172 AB even though he is a 1-14 runner. In strat, he often hits 40 3Bs.

The reality is that in real life he was something of a power hitter in the wrong park -- The dimensions in Dunn Field in 1920allowed for a lot of long balls to stay in the far reaches of the park for triples.

This kind of stuff makes this game fun. Speer and Frock are so well known, especially from their days as nickle starters in ATG I.

If it werent for ATG we would have no idea who these guys are, now they are immortals
