Bernie see my note before yours? According to sources such as Baseball Ref federal league was a major league...If you have Hendrix wouldnt Strat have the entire 1914-1915 seasons from the Federal League along with the NL/AL?

Claude Hendrix (1914) - 1.69 ERA, .94 WHIP or Leonard (we already have them)

but we don't have:

- Vean Gregg (1911) - 1.80 ERA, 1.06 WHIP

Love his full name "[b:5bae87ccbc]Sylveanus Augustus Gregg[/b:5bae87ccbc]" his career started kinda late and strong but then ol' Vean fizzled after his first 3 seaons.

Leonard and Hendrix for me. They will both still have a 4.5 plus ERA and give up 40 homers in ATG.

I just replayed Gregg's 1911 season..

W L ERA GS SV IP H BB SO HR H/9 BB/9 K/9 HR/9
V.Gregg 23 7 1.80 26 0 245 172 86 125 2 6.3 3.2 4.6 .1
121% 21 8 2.00 35 0 297 221 101 201 0 6.7 3.1 6.1 .0

0 homeruns in almost 300 innings in the replay..but then he was only facing 1911 AL batters.

I'm against Hendrix...no federal leaguer AND....

he is one of the "deal" non * Starting pitchers you can get in a cheap 5-man rotation. He already has a card and it's got value as an underpriced non* starter.

No Hendrix for me please.

No "AAAA" Federal League players please.

The disparity between good players and the rest was too great. That's why I don't want a Benny Kauff card.

He was superhuman in the Federal League and a mere mortal otherwise.

And so I consider the 1914 season of Claude Hendrix a fluke as well when judged against the rest of his MLB career.

Leonard and Gregg for me.
