RAISE THE MOUND ATG VI - LEAGUE FORMED AND LOADING

Our historical single season sets

Don't want to create any confusion but the SMall Market Draft has started and it is RJ's pick. Don't know if he has been following that thread so am posting it here. Looks like he will have 2 picks to make since he has the first pick in this draft.

Agreed - consider this official!

Paul - thanks for posting the draft order. 11th for me? REALLY? Again?!

Draft is LIVE!

Postby GFDWARF07 » Mon Dec 12, 2011 8:31 pm

Clock is off for now - once we get the first couple rounds going we will set the clock at 4 hours - hopefully if everyone keeps their eye on the draft we will move a lot more quickly.

I also made TallEd and AllStarInc draft admin people to help out along the way.

I will e-mail rjnewman about both picks he has up (this and the other league)

Good luck!

Dan

Please keep in mind the 1.00 salary limit for hitters when drafting and your park (per division assignments).

What about players that are added that are currently not part of the set(and not on diamonddope)?

hey, this is my first time with the ATG game...so uhhh...players have multiple years cards....so how does that work?

I assume you just treat them as different players?

no, you get the player and you pick which card you want to use. For players with multiple cards, you can use any of them that are under $1M. For pitchers, once a guy is drafted, his other years are "off the board" as well. The owner of the player can then choose which year/card he wants to use.

I guess the only real question is:

Can you trade out a player's card that is injured for one that is not (assuming both are under $1M) This happens in ATG with some of the big names (Griffey, Walker, Gwynn, etc...). What's our stance gonna be on it for this league. It seems a little unethical, but is pretty normal in ATG.

NO! Keep it realistic all - with the hitters all less than 1M this isn't a huge deal.

We addressed this earlier in the thread - if the league starts after they have been added (likely), they will be available, but only via the autodraft and/or waivers and preseason period.

Will again apply to pitchers only and from what we have seen not a big deal for this league.
