no, you get the player and you pick which card you want to use. For players with multiple cards, you can use any of them that are under $1M. For pitchers, once a guy is drafted, his other years are "off the board" as well. The owner of the player can then choose which year/card he wants to use.
I guess the only real question is:
Can you trade out a player's card that is injured for one that is not (assuming both are under $1M) This happens in ATG with some of the big names (Griffey, Walker, Gwynn, etc...). What's our stance gonna be on it for this league. It seems a little unethical, but is pretty normal in ATG.
