Getting "Killer" at the No. 9 pick isn't too much to whine about. My top two options were gone, but I'm pleased with my choice.

Thanks. For some reason I managed to not tell the dope to drop Singer if I got McDowell. All fixed (except that you bums left me stuck with Pete f-ing Rose -- sorry Franky, things are worse for you I guess), and we're rolling again.

Just saw Pete last weekend - at his usual spot in the Forum Shops by Caesars. He looked the same - always like he smells something bad. Maybe he does?

Whoa! Poppa has spent half of his payroll on 4 players. Talk about your "hi-lo" roster!! He will only have kings and peasants on his team. :wink:

The commissioner will have to rule here, but it looks to me from the rules that we can't make any preseason moves; but after the first game, we can trade or cut anybody that we want.

I've been trying to picture how all our clubhouses will look -- the franchise players get their deluxe wing, and everybody else gets to use the outhouse. :wink:
