Bernie-Request for a new league option

This may be impossible but perhaps in the new system maybe it would be possible. I think it would be cool if there was an option to make all cards available. What I mean is that all Babe Ruth's would be available and would not be limited to just one Ruth per league. This would be mostly handy for different theme leagues and stuff like that. Maybe no one else would find that very interesting but it would be pretty fun to me. Just something to kick around, or shoot down lol.

that is kind of in line with a format some friends and i used several decades back when we played SOM with the cards: we each picked a team of who we thought were the best Hall of Fame 25 players and played a season that way. duplication did not matter with that format so it didnt matter if we each had a ruth, hornsby, alexander or whoever so it came down to managerial styles... I don't know if it would be possible to use multiples of a single player here but it would be interesting using managerial styles and ballparks as the main variables. I tried this on the CD-ROM version but found i had to adjust the players names to make it work (ie there was a ruth, a ruuth, a rutth...)

To be clear what I mean is that there would just be one 1927 Ruth, but there would also be the years of the three other Ruths that would be available. Although what you mentioned would be interesting as well. In my scenario it would only impact the guys with multiple cards.

I think if everyone coulod have the '27 Ruth, the game would lose something
But I have never understood why one team couldn't have the 27 Ruth and another have the 20 Ruth, they are 2 differnet players.

roosky i understand what you meant and i think it's a great idea. it certainly would help those franchises which have several players that also played on other franchises to be more competitive and representative.

I am not sure about having [b:0131edcfbf]multiple seasons for 1 player avail[/b:0131edcfbf]...but I know on the CD-Rom[b:0131edcfbf] Ver 16[/b:0131edcfbf] the game allows for[b:0131edcfbf] double duty players[/b:0131edcfbf]...including[b:0131edcfbf] stats updates[/b:0131edcfbf]...so you could have [b:0131edcfbf]Babe Ruth the hitter[/b:0131edcfbf] and [b:0131edcfbf]Babe Ruth the pitcher[/b:0131edcfbf] on the [b:0131edcfbf]same team[/b:0131edcfbf]...but only [b:0131edcfbf]1[/b:0131edcfbf] of them could appear in the game at a time.....[b:0131edcfbf][/b:0131edcfbf]
