I'll just come out and ask...Does Bernie ever use players for his regular season player card set that Strat-O-Matic lists as "ADDITIONAL"? Has that ever happened?

I ask because I am in a couple Keeper's (I'm obviously new to them) and rosters are in play here.

Thanks

EXTRA: I am so pumped that Heisey got CF eligibility. At least I hope that correlates with Bernie. Will it?

TSN now has 2 versions of card sets, 1 "unleashed" where the small-PA crazy good cards are allowed, and the regular set where those cards are excluded as they would skew the season-long results. When setting up a league you choose which one you want.

That said, there is still a 50 PA minimum for any hitter card to be included in either card set and 30 IP for pitchers.

And yes, if SOM has a fielding rating for a player, TSN will have one as well. It's the advanced game rating.

[quote:2348cc9e3e="Mr. Baseball World"]Does the "use column" give us an indication of whether they likely will have a card here? Seems to show either Reg, comp, add or mix there.[/quote:2348cc9e3e]

[b:2348cc9e3e]Reg[/b:2348cc9e3e] should be in, unless they have a severly unbalacing card with limited AB's

[b:2348cc9e3e]ADD[/b:2348cc9e3e] depend upon plate appearences or innings pitched, if they meet the minimums qksilver mentioned above, and have a card not deemed to be to good, they will be in the set on site

[b:2348cc9e3e]MIX[/b:2348cc9e3e] won't be in the set as they refer to a player who was traded between leagues during the season and the MIX card represents only the stats for a given team. There will also be another MIX card and a third card type for these players (Usually REG) the REG card will be combined stats and will be the card in use on this site

[b:2348cc9e3e]COMP[/b:2348cc9e3e] will not be available. they are only available in the CD-rom version of the game, they are not in available even in the board game.

Devin Mesoraco had 50 ABs and definitely sucked enough to be included in the online game as you mention. BUT he also only played as a Sept. call up. With Ramon Hernandez and Ryan Hanigan carded as definite catchers do you see Mesoraco with a card in the regular set? He's currently listed as an "ADD".

Well his stats aren't good enough to eliminated him from contetion, but he's right at the cut off point so it's hard to say for sure.

He's probably in a keeper league where carded players can't be prospects anymore.
