Whoa!! I swept last night, then realized I also have about $2.4M of salary to spend. I got interrupted making some changes the other night and didn't finish off everything i wanted to do...totally forgot about it!

I'm disappointed. There are flaws in my team resulting from some key AD misses, and those flaws can't readily be fixed in a league of this quality. So while the team in not remarkably different from the one that just beat Stoney in the Finals of a hyper-competitive long standing live draft league, it is different enough to struggle this time around.

If anyone is interested in Matt Thornton, I'm interested in upgrading Lincecum. Just throwing that out there. 8-)

Rob, Beltre's masterful hitting continues with a 1-11 performance last night. He did drive in 2 runs with a sac fly and a ground out in Game 1. I guess if there is always a guy on 3rd base w/less than 2 outs, Beltre can get 'em in! :wink:
With 3 guys on the DL, Beltre better get on a roll...and fast!

Beltre underperform in any league or park this year - LH, RH, hitters and pitchers parks - He is one of the most consistent hitters in the set. He'll pick it up, I'm sure. :roll: :wink:

Been very busy the past 2 wks. But am beginning to level out. Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays and the season. This is way too many add/drops for me. But I have never been happy with my team after a poor draft...I plan on doing 1 more league before the new cards commence.

Well I was 1st in waivers so my squad is below par as well after a poor AD. As BigM mentioned, in a lg. of this quality there's no hope to improve.

Standings - It looks as though you may be "IMPROVING YOURSELF WRONG." What looked like a runaway initially is beginning to look like a typical "Good Bud" type League. :D :wink:

As of today, there are 8 teams within 3 games of a playoff spot including 4 teams that are 70-62 right now. All 3 divisions have ties for the division lead. That's unusual after 132 games. Good old fashion GOBL shootout. Jeep has almost done the Worst to First transition. Only 1 game back for the division lead now.
