After getting bored setting run-scoring records, I decided to go for the triples record. Unfortunately, another team in the league had the same idea, but I only missed out on Thompson (currently with 26 triples) among my initial draft choices. Other than that, it's looking good. Currently on pace to reach 213, after a recent dry spell. most of the season was on a 230 pace. Triple normalization?

Current record is 216.

Curious why you chose Royals '78 instead of Royals '80?

Because of this- http://forums.sportingnews.com/viewtopic.php?t=627291

Just on the off chance that the 2B/3B ballpark effects are tuned on, which has never been confirmed nor denied by the mysterious man behind the curtain.

Royals '78 is by far the best triples ballpark.

Besides an inside the park homerun the triple is my favorite play. I am new to the on-line game though I have played many cards and dice and CD ROM games. I am shocked at the sheer volume of players and cards to choose from. That is what sold me on this on line version. I hope you break the triples' record. Does anyone know what that record is (team and player)?
