[b:e05eeec70e]Just a quick heads up to any of you who are getting your teams ready and may be chomping at the bit to start the league on Monday:[/color:e05eeec70e]
It ain't gonna happen.[/color:e05eeec70e]
If the league fills today, we'll all be sitting in front of our computers on Christmas for the post waiver draft scramble for players. Do you really want to do that?[/color:e05eeec70e]
I don't. I won't. [/color:e05eeec70e]
The reasons should be obvious. If they are not, so be it, as there is nothing that I can say here to convince you otherwise.[/color:e05eeec70e]
While I do not deign to speak for others, I have a feeling that I'm not alone in my belief that Christmas should be the one day of the year at the very least where the focus is on family and faith. [/color:e05eeec70e]
I will not be excusing myself from Christmas festivities to disappear for an hour or more to participate in the post waiver free agent scramble.[/color:e05eeec70e]
I realize that it would probably be smarter to just enter my team on Saturday without comment and do the waiver draft on Monday to reduce the risk of raising the ire of my fellow gamers, but I'm trying to give everyone advance notice so that anyone who is scrambling to get his team entered can relax and focus on other priorities/activities.[/color:e05eeec70e]
Have a Merry Christmas everyone![/color:e05eeec70e][/b:e05eeec70e]
