as some of you already know, there is a way to manipulate the strato game engine to get an R3 R4 or R5 relief pitcher to pitch 300-350 quality innings.

as i begin to design my barnstormers finals team, i wanted to check with the other 8 of you and make sure you are all cool with this methodology being implemented.

i was always under the assumption that this was considered cheating, but a few people have brought it to my attention that not only is it not cheating, it was okayed by bernie himself (although i am unsure if this is true or not). then there are others that think it definitely cheating.

since you are my other 8 competitors, i want to check with you guys first and make sure that the consensus is getting a rp to pitch 300+ innings is okay for the biggest ATG event we all have... the barnstormers finals...

Barnstormers of a couple of years back had a rule where you would incur a penalty if your pure reliever went over 300 innings. But after people were penalized, this was determined to be an unmanageable rule.

Since there are a lot of players who seek out even the slightest edge, the concept of trying to police players from "gaming the game" no longer interests me.

Therefore to me, it doesn't really matter what the rest of the league thinks about it, you can create any team and strategies you choose. Now if this is something you really think you should be revealing to this group, that's another subject.

sorry moose. the change was strategic. had petro made the finals i was going to do an 80m team and draft murray #1 just to spite him. now that he didnt make the finals, i prefer the more challenging format of 100m.
